The wife got me a kit for Xmas a few years ago. I like it a lot and it smells delicious. I received a bulk pack of it this past Xmas because my relatives couldn't find a bigger hint.

For protection I use Klasse sealant. Just Klasse if the car has new paint on it. I'll use Klasse All in One for jobs that the paint needs a cleaner on it as well. Then for beauty I'll use any number of different waxes depending on the color of the car and what I'm after. Because all my current cars are black or near black I'm currently using Dodo Juice Purple Haze.

I normally use Klasse All-In-One, but last time I needed a recoat I decided to try RejeX, and I'm pretty happy with it. Definitely less shine than the Klasse, but the toughness and durability are impressive even compared to some of the very expensive sealants. It's perfect for my Legacy wagon, which benefits from the durability a lot more than it would from extra gloss.

I use this Wolfgang Sealant with great results on most cars. Last the better part of a year and bottle goes a long way.
I had the Miata Opti-coated, best investment I made in the car, for sure. Never wax again!

I usually use Collinite 845 for winter, and Meguiars carnauba wax for the rest of the year. I find that the carnauba brings out the pearl in my paint better than synthetic waxes.
